Getting Started with LoomR
Welcome to LoomR — the easiest way to send personalized video messages to your customers after every transaction. This guide walks you through the entire setup process, from creating your account to sending your very first video.
Step 1: Create Your Account
- ●Visit loomr.ai and click Get Started.
- ●Sign in with your Google account. LoomR uses Google OAuth for secure, passwordless authentication.
- ●You will be redirected to the onboarding screen where you can set up your merchant profile.
Step 2: Complete Your Merchant Profile
During onboarding, you will need to provide the following details:
- ●Business name — This appears in the subject line and body of the emails your customers receive.
- ●Your name — The personal name associated with your video messages.
- ●WhatsApp phone number — The number linked to your WhatsApp Business account. This is where LoomR will send recording prompts.
- ●Email address for forwarding — Confirm the email address you will use to forward order confirmations.
Make sure your WhatsApp number is accurate, as this is the primary channel through which you will receive recording requests.
Step 3: Understand the Workflow
LoomR follows a simple, event-driven pipeline:
- ●Forward an order confirmation email to your dedicated LoomR inbound address (e.g.,
orders@inbound.loomr.ai). - ●AI extracts the details — LoomR's AI reads the forwarded email and pulls out the customer name, order details, and email address automatically.
- ●You receive a WhatsApp prompt — A message arrives on your WhatsApp with the customer's name and order summary, along with a prompt to record a short video.
- ●Record and send your video — Simply record a quick, personalized video right from WhatsApp.
- ●Your customer gets the video — LoomR packages the video with a GIF preview and delivers it to your customer's inbox.
Step 4: Send Your First Video
To test the full flow:
- ●Find a recent order confirmation email in your inbox.
- ●Forward it to your LoomR inbound address.
- ●Wait for the WhatsApp prompt to arrive (usually within seconds).
- ●Record a short video greeting the customer by name and thanking them for their purchase.
- ●Check your LoomR dashboard to see the task move from Pending Recording to Video Recorded to Video Sent.
Tips for a Smooth Start
- ●Use a real order email for your first test so the AI has realistic content to parse.
- ●Keep your first video under 60 seconds — short and personal is the goal.
- ●Check your dashboard after each step to confirm the pipeline is working end to end.
- ●Make sure WhatsApp notifications are enabled on your phone so you do not miss recording prompts.
